Acirax Cream 10G

Acirax Cream is a topical antiviral formulation containing Acyclovir 5%, designed to treat skin infections caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV-1 & HSV-2). It helps speed up healing, reduce pain and irritation, and prevent viral multiplication when applied early in an outbreak.

This cream is commonly recommended for cold sores (herpes labialis), genital herpes outbreaks, and other localized herpes simplex infections. When used promptly at the first sign of symptoms—burning, tingling, or itching—it offers significantly improved treatment outcomes.

 Mechanism of Action
Acyclovir works by blocking viral replication, preventing the herpes virus from multiplying. This helps reduce the severity and duration of outbreaks and promotes faster healing.

 Dosage & Administration

• Apply a thin layer of the cream to the affected area.

• Frequency: 5 times daily (approximately every 4 hours), or as directed by a doctor.

• Begin treatment at the first sign of symptoms for best results.

• For external use only—do not apply inside the mouth, eyes, or genital mucosa unless directed.

Important Precautions

• Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, nose, and vagina.

• Wash hands before and after application.
